Going by the BCCI’s old rule book that allows the selectors a four-year term, chairman Prasad and Gagan Khoda’s tenures have already expired. The duo were appointed in 2015, while the trio of Devang Gandhi, Sarandeep Singh and Jatin Paranjpe were appointed in 2016, meaning that they have a year left, according to the old constitution. The changed constitution, however, allows them a term of five years.
During the 88th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the BCCI in Mumbai on Sunday, Ganguly said,

Ganguly also gave his feedback on the performance of the Prasad-led committee and added,
The Indian team has enjoyed a lot of success in the last four years, reaching the semi-final of the ICC World T20 in 2016, the final of the 2017 Champions Trophy and the last four of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. However, their inability to pick a consistent number 4 in the ODI team often led to the committee copping a lot of criticism.
