There is bittersweet news for NCIS: LA viewers, the show is currently on its midseason break, like many other CBS shows. However, the good news is, NCIS: LA, Season 13, Episode 7 is set to return to screens a lot sooner than you may think. Newsweek has everything you need to know.
When Will NCIS: LA, Season 13 Return?
NCIS: Los Angeles last aired on Sunday, November 21 and thankfully, the wait for NCIS: LA, Episode 7 is almost over.
Fans of the military drama will be starting the New Year off right, with NCIS: LA making its return to CBS on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
NCIS: LA will air at 8 p.m. on CBS, concluding at 9 p.m. You will also be able to stream the episode live via CBS online.
Do not worry if you happen to miss the return of NCIS: LA, Episode 7 will be available to stream online and Paramount+.
Titled “Lost Soldier Down”, the mid-season premiere will see Callen (played by Chris O’Donnell) and his team investigate the apparent suicide of a Navy intelligence officer after a drug-fuelled night.
The short synopsis via CBS also teases tension between Special Agent Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and NCIS Investigator Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) after Deeks makes plans to redo the backyard without her input.
Episode 7 will also pick up from the events of the midseason finale, which saw Kensi and Deeks attend a seminar for adoptive parents. Hopefully, if their fallout over the backyard does not impact their relationship too much, the show’s favorite couple could be on track to become parents very soon.
The midseason premiere will also be directed by series star Daniela Ruah, who has been a part of the NCIS family since 2009.
There will also be some notable guest stars in “Lost Soldier Down”, including Michael Ocampo as Navy Officer Adrian Vargas, Joshua Chang as Naval Intelligence Specialist Jason Renfro, Tui Asau as Prophet Mahee Mahee/Emmett Westerhouse, and Anne Gee Byrd as Dr. Evelyn Bernhard.
Also appearing in a guest role are Grant Jordan as Grant, Melissa Sears as Leah, and Duncan Campbell as NCIS Special Agent Castor.
In the meantime, CBS will be airing repeats of NCIS: LA, in case you fancy rewatching random episodes. Alternatively, all 12 seasons of NCIS: LA is also available to watch now via Paramount+ if you’d prefer to watch episodes of your choice.
