President and CEO of The Pokémon Company, Tsunekazu Ishihara, greeted fans and rattled off a list of games and mobile apps featuring the popular pocket monsters. Some were brand new endeavors, while others were updates to already existing games like Pokémon Go and Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Here’s a rundown of everything that was shown and announced during this special Pokémon Presents broadcast.

NEW POKEMON SNAP

While not the first announcement, the reveal that a new Pokémon Snap title is in the works has the Pokémon Community excited.

For the first time since Pokémon Snap was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1999, players will be able to explore the Pokémon world and take pictures of wild creatures in their natural habitat.

Not much was revealed, but a gameplay trailer was released, which you can watch below.

POKEMON SMILE

The actual first announcement from the Pokémon Presents stream was a new mobile app titled Pokémon Smile.

Similar to how Pokémon Go and the still-unreleased Pokémon Sleep are tailored to making everyday activities more fun, Pokémon Smile hopes to give trainers incentive to have good habits while brushing their teeth.

There are minigames and ways to catch Pokémon as you brush your teeth. Pokémon Smile is available to download for iOS and Android devices now. Check out the trailer for Pokémon Smile below.

POKEMON CAFE MIX

Another new game was announced, called Pokémon Cafe Mix. This unique puzzle game has players own a special cafe that caters to Pokémon. You’ll be tasked with serving your Pokémon guests by completing puzzles.

You’ll be able to recruit certain Pokémon whose skills will help make solving puzzles even easier.

Pokémon Cafe Mix is set to be released for mobile devices and Nintendo Switch in the future.

POKEMON GO

After a refresher on all of the new features that have come to Pokémon Go during the pandemic, it was revealed that Mega Evolution is also coming to the popular mobile game.

Not many details were provided, but it’s likely that Pokémon Go players will be able to Mega Evolve certain Pokémon during battles.

Galarian Farfetch’d has also begun appearing in Pokémon Go, so trainers can get out there and catch this new Pokémon.

POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD

Pokémon Sword and Shield players are getting ready for the release of The Isle of Armor DLC, but to celebrate the launch, the Mythical Pokémon Zeraora will begin appearing in Max Raid Battles.

From June 17-28, trainers can battle this powerful Electric-type Pokémon. Trainers won’t be able to catch Zeraora, but If one million trainers defeat this Mythical Pokémon a special distribution of Shiny Zeraora will be gifted to all trainers via Pokémon Home.

Oh, and there’s a new Pokémon Presents happening on June 24 with more game announcements and updates expected.
