Why has NCIS: New Orleans been canceled? The main reason that the show is ending is the usual reason that such shows are axed: dwindling ratings. Per TVLine, viewers are down nearly a quarter for Season 7 against Season 6, the second-highest ratings drop out of any CBS show (only The Unicorn had a higher drop-off). Per TVSeriesFinale’s data, an average of 750,000 fewer people watch NCIS: NOLA than watch the show directly before it on Sundays, NCIS: Los Angeles....

NCIS: Hawai’i starts on CBS at 10pm ET/PT and will air weekly on Mondays. The new series follows in the footsteps as NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans. NCIS as a franchise is itself a spin-off from the U.S. Navy themed legal drama JAG. The new show follows agents from the fictional Naval Criminal Investigative Service who are based out of the Pearl Harbor Field Office, investigating crimes related to the military and national security....

As part of a slide show accompanying its Investor Relations call yesterday, during which Star Wars: The Old Republic’s dwindling subscription numbers contrasted with the success of Battlefield 3 and Origin, the company revealed the release window for just such a game: the next Need for Speed. Release windows for EA’s many anualized sports franchises, in addition to Crysis 3 and the new SimCity, were also on display. Newcomer Jean Cramer made the comment during a public forum in Marysville, Michigan on Thursday. She is currently one of five candidates vying for an open seat on the Marysville City Council. Miles Routledge, a physics student at Loughborough University, arrived in Afghanistan on August 13 from Turkey. He was scheduled to leave from Kabul on August 19. Routledge, 22, thought he would be able to flee Kabul prior to the Taliban takeover, but the terrorist group ended up seizing control of the city on August 15. All flights are grounded out of the city until further notice. Routledge, who’s also known as “Lord Miles” on various social media platforms, spoke on Twitch about the reason why he decided to travel to Kabul in the first place....
